My husband had a problem with your electrolytes, while working as a vending machine dealer in the Texas heat. He could not drink enough water or Gatorade to keep up with him and finished w / heat stroke.
A beautiful woman in the health food store gave me some electrolyte pills worked great. They were less than $ 5.00 per bottle and one bottle has lasted about a month. I suggest you go to a health-food doors and ask for them. They were small CAP gel electrolytes with no options, no frills, works wonders. Drink lots of water, of course.
Here are some of our own recipes, I could not do it, I can not tell you what they taste. I just found on the web.
Homemade Gatorade
1 package unsweetened Kool Aid (any flavor)
2 liters of cold water
Sugar 1 / 2 cup
1 / 2 tsp. Salt
1 / 2 cup orange juice
Mix. This corresponds to the electrolyte replaced in many popular beverages available on the market.
Replacing the electrolyte drink
1 cup water
1 tablespoon orange juice 2 tablespoons of tea. Lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar - DO NOT use under low concentration of sugar calories.
1 pinch of salt.
Add the ingredients with water and shake well. Levels are at least 24 hours without refrigeration for weeks if kept cold
For those who do not like citrus fruits, use 3 ounces of juice, cranberry cocktail in 5 liters of water, but do not give, sugar.
Gatorade contains:

Powerade contains:

Electrolytes (sodium and potassium)
Flavor (sugar)

While Gatorade, Powerade, Propel and think with all their different branches to water are in one way or another, are the drinks contain electrolytes, only the most effective for long periods of intense exercise. Water is a much better substitute for the normal periods of exercise. If you usually for an hour or more exercise, you can easily add and rehydrate your muscles with water bottles. When your body is primarily made of water, first, why the water is replaced with a little liquid in another country?
